Learn how to design, carve and print your very own linocut print!
This workshop with Rebecca Prince will celebrate Bee-stung lips: Barbara Hanrahan works on paper 1960-1991 at Murray Bridge Regional Gallery, A Flinders University Museum of Art touring exhibition presented in collaboration with Country Arts SA.
Be inspired with a brief tour of the exhibition, where you’ll see many innovative linocut prints by an iconic Australian artist, before learning how to design and carve your very own linocut artwork and print it using a customised sandwich/printing press. Refine your print further by adding colour with watercolour paints.
Please bring an apron or wear clothes that can get messy, as this workshop involves working with inks/paints that could stain clothing.
