Japanese Ikebana & Oribe Style Pottery Workshop

bowl.jpg

Join Tania Kunze for Vessels for Flowers, based on traditional Japanese Ikebana and Oribe style pottery.

Learn how to make a display bowl or vase using Japanese inspired techniques, incorporate textures from nature and organic making methods to connect you with the clay. The      finished forms will have a textured exterior and smooth interior that encourages contemplation as your eye is drawn from one surface to another. Finished pots will be suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

As a clay and mixed media artist specialising in making and teaching art with meaning, a ceramic tour of Japan In 2017 encouraged Tania to be more playful and experimental with her making processes which is passionately shared.

All materials and tools provided
