ALTERED BOOK ART JOURNAL WORKSHOP

Altered Book Art.jpg

Cost:  $55; $45 concession
Materials, coffee & tea provided

Bookings essential

Altered book journals are a great way to explore different art media, experiment with ideas and to repurpose unwanted old books as personal creative journals.

It’s fun and therapeutic and you are only limited by your imagination.  There really are no rules and art experience or ability is not important at all.  This workshop is suitable for teens and adults

Learn new skills, and nourish your creativity.  Bring along a favourite hard back book with stitched spine (if you have one) and any special bits you may like to use in your journal, although  materials will be provided on the day.

Janet Gallagher  is an Australian contemporary visual artist and maker. Janet creates works of collage, sculpture, digital image, textiles, mesh, print & mixed media.

“I love books and see this process as a way to give old & often unwanted books another rich creative incarnation.”
