Gerry Wedd enjoys a national reputation in Australia for his hand-built blue and white ceramics that brim with a dry wit, oscillating from the humorous to darkly disturbing. From his beginnings at the kitchen table, guided by his mother’s hobby-obsession through to formal training at the University of South Australia and his studio tenancy at JamFactory, Wedd draws his craft out of his own inspirations, interest and experiences.
Gerry's exhibition "JamFactory Icon Gerry Wedd : Kitschen Man" is showing at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery until 3 December.
JamFactory Icon Gerry Wedd: Kitschen Man is a JamFactory touring exhibition.
JamFactory Icon Gerry Wedd: Kitschen Man has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.
